Welcome.
It doesn’t seem to me as if it has been six months since our last Ontario Newspaper Awards – the first time in Hamilton in more than a decade.
We have received positive response from many ONA members about the Hamilton event, along with constructive criticism and ideas to improve, which we appreciate and will make use of.
Now it’s time to get busy on the 2013 awards, which will be held at the Waterloo Inn Conference Hotel on April 27, 2013.
We are introducing some new categories and changing some others to reflect modern reality in newsrooms across Ontario.
We intend to get members interested and involved earlier in the process by making more use of social media.
We will be posting categories on the web site in December. We have refined and improved our on-line entry system as well.
Your organizing committee looks forward to hearing from you, and seeing you in the spring.
